The Assistant Residential Manager is responsible for providing direct care and to support the manager in for the running of the home, including staffing, and associated day programs.
This home has three (3) residents - 3 active young men who have occasional behaviors.
MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH HOURS and AVAILABLE FOR ON-CALL RESPONSIBILITIES.
Duties include:

Providing direct care to the agency residents

Assisting with the oversight and supervision of staff

Oversight and direction of all planned services to residents
-
Maintenance of accurate records as they relate to the operations of the house, services provided to residents, supervision of staff
-
Participation in required meetings
-
Assistance with on-call coverage for the home
Qualifications Include:

H.S. diploma (or equivalent)required. BS/BA preferred;

1 year prior experience working with intellectual/developmental disabilities required.

Prior management responsibility, including staff supervision preferred.

Use of a personal vehicle in order to perform assigned duties is required.

Obtain and maintain certifications in CPR/First Aid, PMT, and DDS Medication Administration.

Must have well-developed organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task

Effective written and verbal communication skills
